CUE THE MUSIC
When Morecambe charity 'More Music' set-up home in 'The Hothouse' in 1996; they were breathing new life into a building which had served as a place of entertainment for a century.
Small, but beautifully formed; this distinctive red brick building is well-known to residents of the West End of Morecambe, but few are aware of it's history.
ONE MAN BAND
The current residents, More Music, started in 1993 - with musician Pete Moser as the driving force. But although Pete is (amongst other things) a very talented one-man band; More Music is very much a collective. Musicians, artists, performers of all kinds - all joining forces with the local community to make things happen and literally bring more music to Morecambe!
TAKE A BOW
In 2018, Pete announced he was to step down as Creative Director at More Music, after 25 years in the role. Since Pete is something of a Morecambe institution himself, it seems appropriate that we have captured him for posterity in our film!
